We were amazed at how quickly and smoothly the whole process was. Very professional. They kept in constant contact to give us updates. Our agent Nicole was very nice and helpful. In this market, selling your house can be tough to impossible (and sometimes even nightmarish). Not for us! Our house sold in no time at all. We couldn’t have asked for or even imagined a better experience. We highly recommend them! Highly!

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $175K in East Lake I, Chula Vista, CA.

I was referred to Kurt by one of my friends at work. I contacted him initially back in April of last year and made a decision to proceed with a short sale in September. Through my decision making process (which did entail having a loan modification request submitted and subsequently denied) he was always available for consultations and advice. In September, when the decision was made to proceed with the short sale, he assigned one of his associates (Felicia) from his team to my sale. Felicia was extremely helpful, quickly set up a condo visit to inspect my property, and start the research to advertise to sellers. She quickly had interested parties and then we started to navigate the loan approval process which is very complicated with all the changing government and industry regulations. Well, the Condo was sold late last month (Feb) and I couldn’t be happier; my experience with Kurt, Felicia, and the team was extremely positive. I had a tremendous amount of anxiety and they were there to explain and provide excellent advice every step of the way. I recommend them 100%!

When I realized that the market was not coming back as fast as I had thought, I did some research to get out from under my house situation. Most importantly, being in the military and an upcoming move, I needed to do something. I contacted Kurt’s office in Feb 2011. He and his staff where VERY helpful and helped me to understand WHAT was going on throughout the process. I was assigned Nicole F. who was AMAZING every step of the way! Despite me calling her to ask questions significantly after hours, she was willing to help, and seemed to still be working to get my house taken care of. I’m sure i was not her only customer during the year of 2011, but I sure felt that way! It was a long year, but they all stood by and kept fighting to help me. If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely go back. Thank you Nicole, Becky and Kurt for everything!

I want to thank , short sale agents Kurt Wannebo, Nicole Furlong, and SDREALI team for the successful short sale of our residence in Chula Vista, CA. Kurt’s business model is great – from the first interview to the end of the short sale process. The entire process took three months from beggining to end. Everything was explained to us and I never had to wait for a phone call or an email from our agent Nicole. She was always available to speak to us on her cell phone. Sold a home in 2012.

First of all I’d like to publicly thank SDREALI, short sale agents Kurt Wannebo, Nicole Furlong, and SDREALI team members Becky Bensussen and Lauren Jants for the successful short sale of our residence in Oceanside, CA. Kurt’s business model is ‘outstanding’ beginning with a personal interview to fully inform you about the short sale process and to answer any questions you may have: Like ” will the seller incur any costs?” The answer is “no” the bank pays all the costs. We’re living out of state and the team at SDREALI kept us completely informed during the entire process. Nicole Furlong was our contact and was absolutely wonderful along with being very good at her job. My personal ’65 year old’ opinion is you can’t go wrong scheduling an interview with Kurt if you need to short sell your property. I’m really glad I did. My property was 300k underwater and going into foreclosure and the short sale was a much improved outcome for us and the bank. I contacted Kurt on 9/6/2011 and our short sale closed 2/15/2012. We had a second note which was also resolved. Like I said I’m really glad I asked SDREALI to help us. As a sidebar: Ask your lender if they offer a seller incentive for a successful short sale.

Kurt came to our house, we signed on with him, three days later there was an Open House with ten couples attending, yielding five offers resulting in a sale. Felicia handled all the details and answered our questions immediately. Kurt’s relationship with our Bank prevented any confusion.

Sold a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $125K in San Carlos, San Diego, CA.

I was clueless as to what to do with property that was valued at about half of what I paid. I found Kurt online and made an appointment. We ran through several scenarios of how to get back on a positive financial trajectory in regards to real estate. After Kurt’s clear description of the process I found I had nothing to lose through the short sale process. It was almost like clockwork with time frame expectations. I worked with one of Kurt’s agents: Brandy. I could always get a hold of her with concerns no matter the hour of the day. With Kurt’s marketing even my more-difficult-to-sell, 1 bdrm condo, received plenty of exposure and viewings. I continually received status updates as promised. I was always consulted prior to decisions. Even in the most eastern parts of San Diego Kurt’s team was able to offer local market insight. Even if I don’t need to short sale in the future my next real estate transaction with be with SDREAI.

I do not think that there is enough space to describe the unbelievable job that was done by Kurt Wannebo’s staff in selling two simultaneus properties: my husband and I found a short sale property listed by SDREAI by shear accident, and yet it happened to be ajacent to our current home’s property. We felt it would be an ideal opportunity for our family if we could get this home, providing that we could sell a home located in a different city,in order to buy the short sale property listed by SDREAI. Sound complicated–you bet!! Trying to pin down the logistics of a short sale, while at the same time making it contingent on the sale of another property is a realator’s nightmare. Kurt’s staff (Tifany and Erika) were unbelievable. Tiffany was able to sell our the home needed to buy the home we wanted without delay despite a great deal of papework nightmares. Erika worked on the shortsale and it went without hitch. Both house deals were complete in less than three months and they included a short sale and a house that sold in 4 days. I can not say enough about Kurt’s staff, their follow up, their persistence, and their genuine knowledge of the real estate market. I would recommend them to anyone interested in selling or buying a home regardless of whether or not it is a short sale.Tiffany you thoroughly rock!
